Brentford and QPR keen on Dickie
You must log in or register to see images

Brentford and QPR are among clubs keen on Oxford United centre-back Rob Dickie.

The 24-year-old has impressed since joining Oxford from Reading in 2018.

Dickie played a key role in the U’s reaching the League One play-offs this season - they were beaten in the final by Wycombe.

He has entered the final year of his contract, alerting several Championship clubs to his potential availability this summer.

Brentford have been tracking him for some time, while QPR are looking to sign at least one central defender before the new season starts.

Both west London clubs are also interested in Northampton Town centre-back Charlie Goode.
A Good Dick at the back is just what we need. Get them both in and keep the Balls.

So we all know what will happen right?

We'll get one or Goode / Dickie and Brentford will get the other. Whichever one we get with be carp and whichever one Brentford get will be the next Carlos Puyol.

Tankovic would be a direct replacement for Eze. Very similar sort of player.
He is from Norrköping, but rejected the club to go to Stockholm, at an early age, instead. He is detested in Norrköping for this and being generally an arrogant, mouthy prick.
He has run down his contract with Hammarby.

A rather different character from Eze though clearly!

Absolutely, he is more like Grealish. It could be that my biased opinion is overplaying how big a prick he is. We shall see (if of course he really is incoming).
My 14 year old boy (QPR and Norrköping fan) is having a tough time with this possibility. He really dislikes him.

I like him already. What a name too.

Yes, I saw a thread on this on LFW.

He seems to have scored some neat goals. Do you have any local “Scandinavian” info on him?

Me, no, but then I'm still not totally unlocked in Thailand. Totally has posted some info on here, and you have probably seen the clip of some of his goals on LFW - he looks 2 footed anyway and knows where the goal is.

I reckon he will go for £15-17m, but if it’s to Palace they have to get rid of Zaha first.

It all depends on generating some competition, so fingers crossed. Anything under £15m really would be a steal, even in this market, and you'd hope the club would gamble on holding out until the very end of the window, or even January, in the expectation that another club will get desperate and start bidding more. I'd still be disappointed at £15-17m, but not quite as apoplectic as if he were to go for £12m...
