The Club is worth one pound. The 'interested parties' won't be property developers (we have none) or asset strippers (again, we have none). Still, at least a sale will give the ringleaders on ITTV somebody new to abuse. That'll cheer them up.
Although we need strengthening in every area, for me the midfield has to be priority number one. That really has to be sorted ahrt if we don't want to finish bottom half again.
These are the players I would keep for next season; MacGillivray Dobson Morgan Clare Washington * Stockley * Jaiyesimi Blackett-Taylor Forster-Caskey ** Everybody else would be gone if I was in charge. And I would not want any of our players loaned from other Clubs this season back again. * on condition we get in one more forward who is at least as good ** on condition he stays fit through the summer and is 100% come August.
I’d probably stick Fraser in there , don’t think we’ve seen enough of him , maybe Kirk if he would relocate now- as he’s playing ok in the championship
Pity we didn't give JF-C at least one full game to see how he is shaping up, and whether or not he can be the player he was. I have no idea whether he deserves another contract.
This is the dilemma. I'd be happy to keep JF-C if he can stay fit for the new season. Dick Plumb did point out to me that a decision cannot wait until August though (which I didn't appreciate when I made out my list). Sadly, if I had to make a decision on Jake now, I would have to say the risk of another long term injury is too high. I'd let him go.
It does not bode well for the future in many ways. When Jackson gets the boot I'd not be surprised if Sandgaard brings somebody in from either Denmark or America, he certainly does not have sufficient contacts to lean on over here.
They're still under contract anyway, so they'll stay. I'd get Elerewe in to replace Innis, Famewo can go too.
Aneke & Lavelle will probably stay, but I wouldn't keep them if the choice was mine. Both are good players when fit. But neither have been fit much this season. I acknowledge many fellow supporters would give them another chance. But I'm losing patience with players who miss (or are likely to miss in the future) whole chunks of the season with injuries.
almost to the minute, full time was blown and one of the famous fans posting a video... F this, F that. it's getting boring. we are an unstable club. have been for 15 years... why the privileged ones feel the need to act surprised every season i don't know. no one's going to come in and pump millions into the club for that sort of treatment every time we lose. we need a supporter rebuild or a mentality rethink. if TS wants the club to move forward, they need to embrace new ideas. they need to do things that worked - we had that youtuber match a few years back, do that. host gaming events, given gallen the keys to recruitment again, lower ST's and pack it out. but, i bet we sign a few freebies and tape up aneke at most.
Fans forget we were a Premier League club 15 years ago, and have wild ideas on how big we are. We are a mid table Championship club, where we are now is unacceptable though.
mid table champ is a long way off.. there's loads of more recent ex prem teams in the champ. our average league postion is now probably towards the top of L1.
Considering we are all desperately hoping we get our transfers done early doors this year, it seems a bit odd both JFC and Washington have no idea if they are staying or going! Maybe we have top line replacements lined up, and we'll show the the door when the new guys sign?
We’ll keep them hanging till last minute just in case no one else is willing to join us - bit of a gamble though
