What I saw was a player playing up to the crowd and laughing along with them who had been trying to take the piss out of him all match up till then. There was nothing outrageous going on and it was the same the previous season. The crowd try to wind him up and he returned it after scoring. I find that quite funny. However that hasn't got anything to do with the rights or wrongs of not wanting to restart this season for Charlton. I still don't particularly blame him. It won't even be a real end of season anyway.

I'm glad you are so forgiving. I'm not!

And he has done wrong at Charlton. As Plym said, he is under contract there until the end of June and is therefore in breach by refusing to play in any games that may take place then. Not a player I'd ever want to see playing in Green no matter how many goals he scores.

Kiss the badge one day and pack up and leave the next day....not just players but managers too.

Remind me who signed a new contract a few years back and left when he got a better offer from a Scottish club......was it Hartley or a similar sounding name ?

Not too many surprises in those lists.

I assume Danny Mayor has another years option.....which he is sitting on at present..

Breaking up the Grant clan.....Conor has been offered a new contract.

Ryan Taylor's fitness has let him down, otherwise he might of been offered another year.

Of the loanees...George Cooper...Ryan Hardie and maybe Bakinson might be worth trying to keep......Alex Palmer voted best keeper in Div 2 will surely be beyond our pockets to go for.....although another year on loan at a higher level would be a bonus......up to WBA to decide if he is near their first team squad at present.....or would they sell him....his value must of gone up.

Slight surprise to me that all of Gary Sawyer, Niall Canavan and Scott Wootton have been offered extensions.

After a shaky start to the season, the defence got to a reasonable standard later but distribution of the ball from the back didn't always look as good as Ryan Lowe's style demands. That surely won't get any easier in League 1.

The fact that having sat on the retained list so long only to release it this morning means that the club knows what the result of this afternoon's EFL meeting will be doesn't it?

    EFL Statement

    https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/2020/june/efl-statement-egm/

Championship restarts on Leagues 20th June. Those divisions curtailed will be decided on unweighted points per game with promotion and relegation. Play-offs will not be extended beyond 4 teams. Leagues 1 and 2 will meet this afternoon to decide whether to curtail on that basis.

    Nearly there.

Not ideal, but it's done and I think we deserved it. We played very progressive football, way above what you'd expect in League 2, and there's better to come I think.

Ryan Lowe has a fantastic rapport with the fans, long may it last, and the People's Captain, the Manchester Messi, Antoni Sarcevic, is the Lowe spirit personified. We have the new Grandstand (when available), a fantastic pitch and a great Chairman. Let's hope for success in the transfer market over the summer.

Congratulations lads on a well deserved promotion. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Meadow next season (if we are allowed to go anyway). Ryan Lowe was a rather underrated player for us so I am glad to see him doing so well as a manager. In fact all three of the promoted teams from League 2 have managers who played for us (is that a record?). Well done again.

Thank you greenhousmedowman. Not sure about the record ref managers but they all seem to do the rounds almost of playing for everyone these days. Not many one clubers now.

Well thank you greenhousmeadowman....still don't know how we got relegated last season......your nearly a local derby for us....you'll get a 1000 green army supporters next season as long as your grounds open for your home game and of course it ain't a mid-week fixture.

Ryan Lowe is a 20/1 outsider for the Bolton Wanderers vacancy......that's not too far from home ?

Why would he go to a cash strapped club having got one promoted only to see them go out of business recently. Can't see it happening.
