Daily Mail (that well known reliable source) are reporting that Ferguson is giving "considerable thought" to his future. Odds for David Moyes to go there have tumbled. So with Chelsea looking to appoint Mourinho, Wolves and Millwall sacking their managers, and Moyes out of contract at Everton, are we in for a mad summer?
I heard on the radio that up in manchester theyre were whispers that moyes was going to join fergusons back room staff.
Fergie to retire at the end of the season, it's official now. He'll stay on as a director and ambassador. Moyes or Mourinho to take over?
This has Mourinho written all over it Man Utd. is a massive job in football, but because of the 'Fergie factor' it is now the 'Biggest' job in football and Mourinho would be the man with the stones to take it on and make something of it
Would Mourinho get much money to spend at Utd though? I know he would be interested in the job but i generally think Ferguson has got the best out of a squad which isnt as strong as say Chelsea or Man City - people might disagree but I think he has got the best out of his Utd squad whereas Chelsea and City havent. I also think Chelsea and City will strengthen more than Utd this summer. Whatever happens this is a huge change and I cant wait to see who gets the role. I wouldnt be surprised if it was Moyes, hes reliable and used to working with tighter financial restrictions than Mourinho. I also think it would suit him.
My small wager would be on the Special One to go to United and take Ronaldo with him with Bale off to Madrid. I think Moyse would ruin United. Regardless of whether we stay up or not I can see CH parting company with us in the Summer.
talkSHITE reporting that Moyes is set to take over at Manure. At least they won't win bugger all for the next TEN years ! Moyes is the most overated manager IMO, the media loves him for some unknown reason even though he has won **** all at one of England's biggest clubs in over TEN years !! Everton fans should be dancing in the streets of Liverpool tonight if you ask me because one of football's biggest nearly men is about to jump ship !
Whilst Everton don't necessarily spend that much on transfer fees, they pay very high wages -which is probably why the transfer budget is so small. I believe their wages are in excess of Tottenham's, and possibly Arsenal's too.
The Everton job is a strange one whilst managers like Martinez and Laudrup are very much in vogue, they have a different style to Everton which could result in a long settling in period and angry fans, I actually reckon Lambert would be a very good fit at Everton, so would Benteke.
