Summer holidays

    Morning all!

    As the season draws to a close we all start to look forward to the summer...

    with this in mind I thought it would be interesting to open up a thread to see where you chaps (and chapesses - Lady E and LTF) are planning on going this summer.

    Personally I have a young family so have taken the sensible appraoch of booking us into a nice little hotel in a quiet resort on Ibiza called San Antonio.... <whistle>

    I'm also popping off to Turkey for a week on my own towards the end of April to recharge my depleated batteries.

    In between the above I like to spend time up on the Northumberland coast when the weather permits..

    so where are you going chaps?

    My contract finishes at the start of June so I had considered a big interrail incoroporating the Euros. I've sort of ruined that by spending half of my savings on a new bike though, so the new plan is to wait until we find out what happens with our European challenge and spend the rest on a couple of away games if we qualify.

    Might pop to Cornwall with a few mates for a few days with some mates, but apart from that I gotta find me some dollar over the summer.

    Going fishing up the west coast of Scotland (sea loch fishing) and then there'll be the obligatory beach type weeks holiday with missus and little one in August time. Also going to a festival this year. Looking like Download.

    Going to Poland for ROI V SPAIN game just 2 days and after my trip to the Toon I better bring the missus away <laugh> so plan is meet up with family in Spain in July :emoticon-0103-cool:

    Actually yes as my lower leg is a full tattoo sleeve.... Plus they probably thought I looked like a baseball ref with my Toon top on.
