From Llambias's previous quotes i think we can safely say Tiote is off but with the deals we have pulled off in terms of sales for our star players previously i suspect a good £20m or so coming in for him which can be used to bolster the squad.

I think if Simpson hasnt signed on by the summer he will be away if he hasnt already burnt his bridges. Hopefully Pieters coming in on the left and with Santon and Raylor then we should be okay on the flanks.

Douglas looks to be joining, alot of noise being made from both camps for that one to go ahead.

Demba Ba going on the cheap seems to me like a very real possibility. He isnt happy at the minute, despite what he says. In keeping with our policy though its a close nit bunch of lads and as soon as anyone of them expresses an interest in playing elsewhere we should offload them. Some links doing the rounds for a couple of Dutch strikers so if he does go i am confident he would be replaced.

If Douglas, Pieters and a striker come in, Tiote, Ba and Simpson leave the squad size is still the same, if Europe is on the cards next season we will need more players in.

I look around and there are some cracking players at some of the bigger clubs not getting a look in at the minute such as Huddlestone and Johnson. I would love for us to pick both of them up and a few up and comers or Graham Carr gems no one has heard of to get our numbers up by about 3/4 quality players.

Cant see Krul or Collo leaving now they are signed on. Cisse will be staying and I suspect HBA will stay for at least another season (if he puts in a full season next year at the level he can i cant see him stopping). Cabaye hasnt been as great as he was at the start of the season, there may be some interest but again i dont think he would be looking to move either.

We have Marveux coming back too who will be like a new signing for us.

Writing may be on the wall for Gosling and if Guthrie goes and Tiote is nicked we would be left short in the middle of the park.

Its going to be a busy summer!!!

Johnson yes, Huddlestone no. Spurs had to go and get Scott Parker to solve their defensive midfield problem which Huddlestone and Sandro were bought to fill. Sandro is taking time to adapt but looks a good player. Unfortunately Huddlestone is an absolute pussy, (bizarre given his size) and they were still weak in that area. I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole personally and he is not fit to lace Cheiks boots.

Personally I can see us getting into Europe and no one leaving bar the obvious ones like Lovenkrands, Smith, Ranger, Xisco, Kadar and Forster. Its all very well Derek putting the word out there but if Cheik wants to stay then I couldn't see them pushing him out the door. I'm hopeful of a quietish summer. We have key areas to fill in left back and centre half. If we get them, add the younguns in, and maybe one or two others then we would be very well set. Whether Pieters is the left back answer I'm not convinced but it certainly seems to be going that route. I like the idea of Douglas as someone we can develop. Albeit we could really do with a ball playing centre back as opposed to the Douglas type to back up Colo. Very excited to see Santon in his natural role. I'll say now I think he'll be a massive hit next season and will improve ten fold for the switch. I'd be really disappointed to see Simpson go but I feel it could be on the cards. He's had a great season, playing the majority of the games and he is still improving. He gives us great balance too in having the attacking Santon and him being more defensively minded. Fingers crossed he'll sign and he was quick to play down talk of a departure.

I can see Gosling going. Doesn't look like he will make the grade if you ask me and looks well out of his depth. Demba could go but I suspect if we get into Europe he'll be smart and wise enough to realise there are enough games to go round everyone.

The only reason Guthrie would leave is because he can't get first team football - - he's not going to be snatched by any of the 3 - 5 clubs who finish above us.

If Tiote goes, I expect Guthrie to stay. As we've seen, Guthrie and Cabaye in the middle of the park are almost as good as Tiote and Cabaye. With a fraction of the money we could get for Tiote, we could buy a promising young CM. Added to Abeid and Vukic, and Gosling and Perch, that would make about 7 quite good quality CM's

I reckon we'll lose Tiote, and we'll also see Lovenkrands, Ranger, Smith, Xisco off the wage bill, plus a couple of youngsters/reserves being released.

I don't think Ba will go. ACoN, being paired up with Cisse - he'll stay one more season. Same with Benny - especially if we make Europe.

Why does everyone think we will lose tiote ? He's been average at best for most of the season with only the man utd game standing out. Can see him staying we are a team on the up which is more than you can say for most teams in the league. Wouldn't mind diame from Wigan If he does go though he's a monster

I don't think anyone good will go and we will get more than £20m for Tiote if a club comes in.

Still showing a lot of interest in Dutch players it would seem, Luuk De Jong and Bas Dost both getting lots of mention.

Might have Krul talking them into coming over.
