Can see Browne hugging Cannon in that video - wonder if he'll be in his ear
Have a mate. Involved with some of the top agents. He says it is a big thing, more than at any time in last 25 years he has been in the game. According to him a big help is a player on the inside pushing the move. Makes some sense I suppose. Then again, agents are the curse on our game and my mate knows my thoughts <laugh> thing is we love each other 8 years together in CM at non league. We had our scraps together. None of this means owt, I am on thr malt...

They're taking risks with their expenditure and banking on a promotion that may never come.

If the parachute payments run out, before they go up, there'll be a fire sale at the club imo.
Thats the same as every relegated club because of how much you need to spend to compete in the PL. We'd be exactly the same if we went up, unless we want a record low points tally.

Think the real numbers were they owed £70m by July and Archie Gray and other outgoings covered that. They are fine PSR wise and that's the main thing in terms of rules.

Wonder if we are involved. 21 y/o winger who scored 8 and assisted 10 in League One last season on loan at Portsmouth. Handed a transfer request in last week.

Watched Pompey a few times last season and was clearly too good for the league, surprised he isn't in contention to play for Norwich really

Cannon is a very good striker for this level imo like. The price is high but if it gets accepted at 5m I would not mind

he seems to have that bit bite about him when he plays too
It’s not that high, it’s less than 12 months ago and at Everton he was more highly rated than Simms. My worry though is he’s barely played for the last 12 months because of a significant injury.

Just seen Phillip Billing is leaving Bournemouth before the window closes. Can't see him getting a prem move. Abroad or championship, he'd be a quality signing for any championship side

He will get a very good move, he is a very good player.

Surprised they aren’t keeping him, he will ‘fall upwards’ you watch..

I love their ground. It's proper weird and old fashioned.

**** hole of a place though. Used to live about half an hour away. Imagine being foreign and flying into London Luton, thinking you were going to have a few days wondering around Kensington and Primrose Hill and getting off a plane to be faced with that. **** me!

Watford's worse though.

For some weird reason we're not supposed to call out the town of Luton for what it is ...

... it's a hellhole that's not even good enough to be a sh*thole.

I've been going since the 1970's and it's always edgy, never a good place for a pre-match drink and they've always claimed they'd be moving to a new ground 'next season' ...

... the ground is an absolute disgrace, the mainstand a Bradford City style deathtrap and the away end not fit for purpose.

But it's 'quirky' so we're all supposed to smile and admire 'The Kenny' <doh>
