Doesn't really make sense, Sheff United paid Coventry 15m last season, so they'd be taking a 2m loss and selling probably the best attacking midfielder in the division to a direct promotion rival
Couple of thoughts though:
- Are Leeds playing on Sheff U's financial position? Do they think they need to sell to balance the books?
- Are Leeds scatter gunning after selling all their best players?

Some have went on like he’s unbelievable, despite probably never watching him over a full game.
He needs a loan imo, for his own good. Having a season of rarely playing isn't going to be any good for him
i dont know why, but I'm no longer overly keen on him, his stock for me has dropped mentally since last summer.
Just seen Phillip Billing is leaving Bournemouth before the window closes. Can't see him getting a prem move. Abroad or championship, he'd be a quality signing for any championship side

Not sure his stock has dropped considering the price is similar to what he went for last summer and promotion challengers are after him. I do think the move the Leicester was poor for him and a loan would've been better but Everton weren't going to turn down that money. Injury didn't help either.
So i'd say his stock has stagnated rather than dropped. Would still be all over the signing if it's a real possibility.

Yakubu spent most of his time walking around from memory. We need forwards that are busy and looking to cause problems.
Think we will offer 5 rising to 7 as that is the asking price.

Has scored 10 goals in the championship, he averages a goal every 118 minutes at championship level which is decent

Luton also have 2 very good championship CFs so he's unlikely to start for them. Best chance of starting would appear to be us at the minute
