If it’s stead about Dan Neil it’s 100% correct. He’s close with the players family I believe gets it spot on every time has been clear about contracts etc

I believe Neil being captain be the correct choice for the club, not because I think he’s the best fit at the moment but it would certainly be beneficial in contract discussions with him (if not already concluded).

Yeah Neil is a good choice. Might help him put pen to paper. Top of his game, one of the best, if not the best CM in the league and a MLF. Doesn't really get much more captain material than that.

 

How will O9 react I wonder

 

I don’t think he’d be too fussed he was only really covering whilst Evans was out and the lad is a model professional. Can’t see him spitting his dummy out
