No, hence why we NEED a defensive midfielder with some height (or not 5ft1 like Seri and Slater) so we don't get bullied in the middle in some games.
It's a perfectly normal reaction for supporters to be concerned about losing last year's top scorer on deadline day without a replacement. I don't know why you're pretending it's an irrational response.
Philogene , un-named quite expensive domestic forward and a midfielder. 3 in? Backed ourselves into a corner with Oscar, we’ve gone hunting for Davis basically said we aren’t arsed for you mate now left in a bad position.
Goes back to my comment yesterday about Rosenior really not doing us any favours with him. Maybe Oscar should have just listened harder.
A genuine shame. He has more than done enough to keep his squad place and had to do a lot on his own up top. He would have scored many more if he’d have been played with a second striker, I’m sure. Unfortunately with the system we play, he doesn’t quite fit. I wish him all the best if he does move and hope he makes the club regret the price we sell him for.
Bet you were a little worried about your £100 at half time. Wish i could have seen his face when he handed it over
Hopefully if Oscar does go we can replace him with someone like Chris Martin. That would be good business IMO.
Losing out on the Oscar replacement then getting rid of Oscar anyway ON LOAN, is seriously poor planning. Delap gets injured then we are truly struggling for a focal point up top.
Because until later today, you don't know if he's actually leaving, or if there's a replacement lined up or not.
