Ebiowei really isn't the joke player people make out anyway. He was obviously very talented, just didn't have any intensity about him for some reason. He'll end up having a decent career.
Not sure he will, those kind of flashy lightweight players really need to deliver the goods because they don’t offer much else. So many look so promising but end up tumbling down the pyramid. I do agree though that he isn’t half as bad as is made out by so many of our fans it just clearly didn’t work out for him here. Probably a very different culture than he’s used to both in and away from the squad and just couldn’t get into it, would be my guess.
Ebiowei barely played, if at all, for Palace in pre-season, he's either going to spend the year in their development squad or disappear into the obscurity of a random overseas loan.

They would have to up their bid. He won’t go anywhere unless the money is at least what we paid and then some. At the minute that isn’t the case. I don’t know how much money they have, they obviously didn’t play the back end of last year so I don’t know how that impacted their finances, be surprised if they managed to stump up at least £3m.
If he doesn't find a fire in his belly his career will end up in the lower leagues. Very disappointed by his performances for us given that Rosey lauded him so much!
Sell on only applies to profit so if we sold him for less than we bought him for we'd get all of that.
As you say, it would be stupid to do and I would be highly surprised if that was the case here. I can't think of any examples or why clubs would do it.
