Bring him home!!!
Not a very credible source and I’d be swerving him at that price if we were interested. Tin hat on and all that but he’s fallen away a bit and will be on massive money no doubt so we might be better to remember as he was for us in the Championship.

Would be all about value. At 50m he’s probably not great value. Could still be a good signing but not a bargain. At 30m it’s much more attractive.

I believe we have £200m to spend over two seasons before sales.

If KLD wants it all, 3 to 4 £50m players would be a massive statement of intent.

Ive messaged my mates, and my Madrid SC holder warned Amad stats aren't startling, played 32, 2 goals and 3 assists. Maybe the reason why he might be allowed to leave. Also, Gonzalo, my friend believes Madrid will probably sell him to finance other players...

Agree totally. He'll be in twice what any other player here is on.

Great for us, and we were great for him.

Hindsight makes kings of us all!I don't think our physios and docs are any better than Southampton's around making predictions on future fitness so looking backs its obvious to all we made the right decision to sell but I doubt it had anything to do with his fitness it was all about the wages and the assessment by us that he had reached the peak of his value curve. He could have gone on and stayed fit for years and banged goals in for Southampton but he was of more fiscal value to us to sell and we did.
It had everything to do with fitness mate. All Southampton had was a medical, we had all his data from when he arrived.
He was offered a deal that he was happy with but we wanted a clause in to do with match fitness.
It was best for both parties he left, and what followed proved that and we all benefited other than Southampton

Meh. I’d be disappointed if we were in for him. Not been impressed with him when I’ve seen him.
We can and previously have, done a lot better than him and I’d back FG to get us better as well.
Agree with this he's not even celtics best midfielder nor is he the best Belgian playing in that league

Does have the build of a modern cm on his side as well as his age I just haven't seen him be a stand out

A couple premier league teams looking at Etta Eyong wonder where he will end up, Everton? Wonder if he's someone we've had a look at if Wilson leaves

Hope he stays to play a rotational role with Brobbey but wouldn't blame the lad wanting to play every week! I felt like he wasn't too motivated to be coming off the bench halfway through the season but his last few appearances have been different he looks up for it so hopefully RLB has talked him around?

Would be a shame cause I reckon he will get a few coming in after Brobbey has battered defenders for 70 minutes or so.

Aye I agree with that. Looked like he was checked out a bit but definitely was back engaged end season.

I’d keep the lad unless we get offered 20m or summat, that’s his ceiling value.

Gotta look at Wilsons motivation at the end of the season. He probably wanted to get going before the world cup + impress some potential bidders.

I'd like to think we could attract a more rounded striker to compete with Brobbey.
