Not that it matters at all but #12 and #13 being left vacant instead of filled by the one of the other keepers is a bit odd. We did it last summer as well and gave Allsop #17.

We haven't had a 13 for a while, wouldn't be surprised if that's superstition from someone.

We got our wish with Abduş wearing 10 though, and Millar in 7 sounds right too.

We desperately need an upgrade in the 11. KLP and Grosicki didn’t tear up opposing full backs for seasons for Sinik to tarnish the reputation of a formidable kit number

Baxter was the last one, wasn't that long ago. Oxley, Burton, Ingram and Rannocchia have all worn it in recent years

Yep. Taking £20k a week (or whatever it is) to never play is one thing, but doing it whilst squatting on a valuable number really takes the piss.

I’m a firm believer that #17 should be reserved for wingers or playmakers too. Weird that Drameh didn’t wear #12 either considering he wore it for Brum on loan.

Might be superstitious. If I'd been relegated in a particular number at my old club I'd probably want a change

1 Starting GK, 23 back up.
2 Starting right back, 12 back up.
3 starting left back, 21 back up.
5, 6 starting centre backs, 15 & 22 back ups.
4,8,10 starting central midfielders based on how advanced they are. 16, 18, 20 back ups.
7 and 11 starting wingers, 14 and 17 back ups.
9 starting striker and then 19 for your back up.

Anything else is woke nonsense

Nah. Continental 88s and 91s are the way.

You'd hate Italian football

And yet if we lose to Bristol and bring up all your posts I'm sure you'll moan about it.

Say what you like but the business is too late for opening day which we'll likely lose. It is what it is but mocking people who were critical is not a great look.
This is it for me, it’s picked up seemingly with Acun’s influence I imagine he’s very organised in terms of setting up meetings for Walter etc.

The brain team failed to get things done earlier and like you say they’ll now be learning. My only hope is that the style is so unique that teams don’t know how to set up against us. Oh and that the limited attackers we have cash in all their lucky goals.

Would love Jarvis to get on the scoresheet

And if we do, brilliant, but as you say it'll be luck that gets us over the line. Bristol are in for a good season.

I just hope it’s competitive, Walter has been sold short at a critical stage in his career here. He has a lot to prove to some who can’t let go of Rosenior (not aimed at you Syd) so things could easily get toxic early if we are getting drubbed.

We are also recruiting internationals by the looks of things which doesn’t help for the mini pre season we could’ve had at the end of Aug

Mainly agree except starting centre-backs should be #4 and #5 and defensive midfielder should be #6.
