Walter said yesterday that there wouldn't be anyone in before Wednesday but should be in time for the weekend. Still waiting for the zambrano clearance. Still haggling over the payment structure for Hughes

Does anyone remember the Hull No 211422. Up to local phone box at 3.45 to find out the news. How many times did it reply "the scorer for Hull City was Ken Waggstaff" in the soso minute.

Originally preceded by OHU2 for us who lived outside of Hull, then altered to after a lot of protests to 0482 then that new fangled 01482. Some local band recorded “OHU2 that’s the code for me…” to show the level of feeling against the change.

I wasn’t old enough to be booking holidays off it but me and my gf went to Tenerife all inclusive for 7 days in 2011 for <£250pp (it fit on my £500 limit credit card!)

What were the games on teletext I used to play them a bit but ****ed if I can remember! I recall bridge was always in the front page but never actually played it.

Yeah that’s the one! There weee others too but that was the one that by far most time was spent on. Particularly at my grandma and grandads we’d all sit down together and play it.

Remember calling that number internationally 35 years ago. Rang up a fortune in phone bills. All changed when we got the internet, compuserve and teletext.

It's getting a bit silly (again) after what was said last week and on Saturday isn't it?
Disappointing and frustrating. Just hope the wait is worth it.
