Seems odd that when a deal is agreed, and when we're desperate to get players here with the season days away that he'd stay to play a final game? Loan with obligation subject to conditions sounds very sensible though.
Don't know if anyone has posted this but it is an article where Barca tried to get Zambrano. https://barcauniversal.com/barcelon...on-fee-for-19-year-old-south-american-talent/
Did Barca have money trouble last season so maybe they struggled juggling things around especially as it said he would be going in to the subsidiary squad, but i just put the link up to show some top clubs have been looking at him so potentially if he does sign then we might have a baller in the club who could go onto to be a star.
Fair enough. I should have added, apparently some other big clubs looked too, but no one pulled the trigger. As you say, hopefully we have a future star on our hands.
Going to watch a couple of his games for his club and some of the u20's world cup see how he plays, watched some more of Mehlem in the early hours if we could get a decent DM that allowed him to get forward more he could really be a good player for us.
If (and it's a big if) the Zambrano deal is as stated/even happening, it could be a way of freeing up a bit more cash to go after Hughes? Many moving parts and all that...
I can’t keep up Are we in talks with zambarano or not? any others? When’s the last time Tan or acun did a statement about the situation?
The latest report online regarding Zambrano is that it will be a loan with an option to buy or an obligation to buy if certain clauses are met.
We really shouldn't need to free up any more cash? We sold Greaves,Philogene and Tufan? There's the cash.
Re Hughes.... does anyone else have a feeling sometime next week we will see someone else come in for Hughes... and get it over the line quickly...
