Waste of a good walkCan't join this club, as golf has never really swung it for me. There will be no puns, just a chip on the shoulder.

It means he's on a shortlist of targets for that position, I think. And that they're staking out the local Polish shops.‘Keeping an eye’
Is this a real thing?
What does it involve?
Is there a plain clothes scout following his every move?
What are that looking for?
What did he have for dinner?
Is this just journalistic bollocks on a quiet news day?
Do they play in Defence, or are any of them the much needed striker?
Perraud hasn't gone either so it could well be fitness.Theo and Redders are not going on the pre-season trip for “fitness” reasons. Should we read into this anything about the future of both?

I was hoping some more of the youth players would get to go but it seems just Simeu and Edwards.

There seems to be a lot of hype for him from Saints fans online. Has anyone here actually seen him or know much about him? I know he has done reasonably well with England youth, was in the squad that just won U19 euros but other than that I don't know where this hype/expectation comes from. You must log in or register to see media
He’s new. And shiny. And unproven which means he could be the next Ronaldo. All potential saints signings are world beaters until they (often) prove otherwise. He scored a great goal on his first team debut against Bournemouth. He’s undoubtedly a talented player with about 30-odd goal involvements for youth sides at City last year. Tall and a good finisher. Like most other players were going for, he’s a very capable age group player who we believe just needs opportunities to play at first team level. He could come in like Tino and meet the requirement immediately, he could be David McGoldrick and not hit the peak until after he’s 30. There’s unknowns but if you watch his play with the age group teams then he’s clearly ready for a greater challenge. There seems to be a lot of hype for him from Saints fans online. Here we go, Romano has spoken! Think we expected this one. No disrespect Burnley, he’s probably going to want a prem team willing to play him, and with some of his buddies. Depends if city want to sell? You must log in or register to see media

Hopefully no more youngsters gone this summer pls! Gutted about this one though, might be on my own here but think he was the most talented youngster we had from what I’ve seen for Saints and England.
