I’m sure he has been mentioned before either in actual rumours or who people would like the see. Him and the Albanian at Lazio whose contract is up and has been linked with Newcastle

Yeah, Livakovic for a couple years and then Alban Lafont was drafted in. My team consisted almost exclusively of French and Argentine players...it's a wonder my manager wasn't deported.
People might turn their nose up at that one but aside from struggling for regular football at Chelsea (like loads of our players!) he’s scored goals everywhere, has experience and would be affordable.
According to the internet he is on 90k a week, could be possible for us if he isn’t willing to take a wage cut. Whether we would want to give him anywhere close to that is another matter
But if we signed Broja, for example, we’d have to pay that kind of wage anyway. That’s probably the going rate for a not-quite top grade striker.
If that is even close to Broja’s salary demands after two professional seasons then I would expect us to be moving swiftly on. Should he get to 12 or so premier league goals - then maybe
But 6 premier league goals = 90k a week? He hasn’t scored many for a while now and we have struggled at the same time. Chicken and the egg situation arguably in that case
I’m tempted to question whether 90k really is the going rate for the not quite top striker . I know rumoured numbers are out there but don’t have chance to look fully

Salaries paid by Chelsea, City and United - especially to reserves distort things and give some people the wrong idea. As an example the rumoured salary for Brandon Williams is something like 65k at the point we were linked with him would have put him in our top 5 earners. And he is bang average

edit: £53k, we’re paying £8.3k of Broja salary, not sure how accurate that is
Haaland to City then. Fantastic signing for them and just adds a focal point to their already brilliant attack. Amusing to see he's using them as a stepping stone while he waits for Benzema to leave Real though.
If we do need two keepers this summer (still no official word on McCarthy contract) I wouldn’t mind taking a look at Karius who is out of contract at Liverpool. Has rebuilt his career somewhat in Germany on loan after the CL final and could be a cheap option to come in as back up with the possibility of challenging for the number 1 shirt.
