And theres us loaning them players. Slimani I understand as we just want his wages off the books but Silva we should have made them buy him

 

I’ll be wages, our fault for putting them on big contracts and wages making them impossible to move on. There’ll probably be a loan fee but clubs haven’t been fighting over either of them so a permanent move would probably not happen and shipping them on loan is preferable to keeping them around not playing

 

No club is going to commit to 3 years plus contracts for either of them at their age and nowhere near the wages we are paying them.

Monaco are probably the only club that can afford to take on their wages season by season, so expect them both to be loaned out until their contracts expire.

It was bizarre including James 12 months ago as it meant King sitting around doing nothing

Its bizarre not including him now as we basically have 2 free spaces. Might aswell have put him and the kit man in rather then 2 players who arent even at the club

 

The fact that BR trusts players hes already sent out on loan rather than someone whos sitting in the physio room speaks volumes.

Will likely be loaned out as soon as hes fit enough and will run his contract down.
