ok lets start the 2014 summer wish list here. imo we should make another bid for Suarez [even if it just puts price up for Real Madrid], go for Draxler, go for Costa, and go for Benzemma. and for once cant we actually start negotiations early and get the players in early.

The three ideal signings for me would be

    Julian Draxler
    Mario Mandzukic
    Lars Bender

Would love someone like Costa, but sadly he seems Chelsea bound.

Depending on how the Sagna situation transpires we may need a new RB. I hope we can get Drax and another striker too.

we should be offering 3 year contract to Sagna as he deserves it, he can cover CB as well so we wont need to buy another CB or RB, so from that saving give him the contract.

If Sagna leaves, then I would go for either Seamus Coleman or Lukas Piszek.

Understand everyone's desire to bring in more talent but when you look at our injuries this season if/when they're all healthy we'll have plenty of quality.
I agree with everyone we're probably a worldie striker short and I'd still like to see cover along the back line, but if Gnabry and Sanogo develop the way AW expects them to perhaps we don't need more firepower up front, and I think people expect big things from Isaac Hayden who could turn out to be the centre back of the future.

    Draxler
    Mandzukic
    Lars Bender or Gundogen
    One back up CB

For the past 5 years we constantly been saying if our team is all fit etc, fact is, with the demands of the modern game, the likelihood of always having all your players is very slim and depends on a lot of luck, this season has really shown that with the amount of injuries we've had. This also being a world cup year, makes injuries even more likely in the next campaign as many of our players will be involved in the competition, hence they'll even have less rest time in the summer and more demand on them.

Plus even with our full team, I think we need an upgrade on Arteta-Flamini.

One thing I'm hoping for in the summer is a work permit for Joel Campbell. It seems that he's been solid for Olympiakos this season, with six goals and seven assists in the league from AMR.

Reach for the stars I say.

    Draxler and Falcao.

Falcao could be a very clever move by the Club and Puma. He's the face of Puma (with Aguero) for South America and a move to Arsenal (with their new Puma sponsorship) could be a great financial move for both parties.

Also he's a World Class centreforward.

I was going to say Falcao but:

    1. We won't pay the amount Monaco would demand for him.

    2. There's no way we can match his wages whilst Chelsea and City would.

Draxler won't happen now, Arsenal will be outbid by Man City, Chelsea or PSG in the summer, an opportunity missed I feel..

If there is a release clause in draxlers contract it won't matter how much city of Chelsea bid.

All that matters is what the player wants: I.e. Wages and club

    In an ideal world:
    Diego Costa
    Draxler
Griezmann (Podolski out - I think he'll end up leaving)
    Pogba
A young CB - Zouma would have been perfect but Chelsea are bastards.

Costa looks increasingly like a Chelski player what with AM wanting to hang onto the keeper. Annoying but there you go.

For us Sagna should be our first priority and I'd like a move for Coleman if it doesn't pan out. Personally I'd want to keep our changes minimal so as to not disrupt a good thing but we need more depth, especially up front and at CB.

Costa is good but there's soo much hype around him at the moment he would be not much easier or cheaper to sign than Cavani or Falcao.

Either of which I would much prefer.

Falcao is on monster money at Monaco - it's a tax haven too so there's absolutely no way Arsenal will sign him.

Suarez may be possible if Liverpool don't get CL this season. He signed a new contract, possibly so it has a proper clause to leave if they done get CL.

3 years for Sagna seems worth it at present allowing Jenks to take over with Bellerin coming through at right back and Sagna can cover at CB for a while, possibly moving into a player-coach role too.

I think Arsenal need a striker, and other than that I'll take stock at the end of the season.

Depends massively on who is staying, who is going.
GK: If fabianski and viviano leave as expected, obviously we're going to need a back up keeper, if fulham go down (again, as expected), I wonder if stecklenberg would become available. Obviously he hasn't been great, but I remember when all the hype was about him and some other bloke back in 2010. He's obviously a decent keeper, who might shine with a good defence in front of him, and I'm sure he wouldn't mind coming to Arsenal as back up from a relegated club.

RB:If Sagna goes, we will definitely need a replacement, I don't care how good Bellerin could become, Jenkinson isn't ready, as much as I love him, so someone like Debauchy (Newcastle have shown that they will always sell like at the right price, they're a poor man's us), Piszczek (doubt dortmund would sell, but maybe if they continue their poor run of form he might be open to leaving), although he will probably stay to keep his link up with Blazasdfdfs.

CB: Vermaelen could leave at the end of the season, in which case we would need 2 more centre backs, (Miquel appears to have disappeared), perhaps someone like Ashley Williams plus a young talent (I have no names here). If he stays, one more centre back would be enough. Sagna is a good option there, but we would need a new right back in that case.

CM: Someone to replace Arteta, Cabaye would have been perfect but that ship has long sailed, not so sure on the Benders, not sure'd if they'd fit well into our system of play, someone like Khedira or Gundogan would be brilliant though

ST: Mandzukic as competition/rotation with Giroud is possibly the best like for like we could get for reasonable money, don't think we can/will sign a Top top qualidee striker like Falcao/Costa/Cavani, especially if we buy Draxler. Or maybe we'll stick with Bendtner, who knows.

Special signing: Draxler, can play anywhere along the front four, obviously a massive talent (although not such great form this year), possibly our future striker/van judas. Problem is that we have many similar players to him at the moment, but you can't pass up on players like him, and if we were to include Podolski in any deal with him (as we would have to get rid of one of our wingers to accomodate him), we might get him for a decent price.

I seriously doubt we would sign all these players, and I can definitely imagine us passing up on in the midfielder category, which is probably the biggest luxury after Draxler (so basically my two expensive signings would be luxuries :emoticon-0111-blush ), but if we were to get Draxler, a young Centre back, Mandzukic, and Stecklenburg, signed sagna on a new contract, brought back Campbell from loan, in the place of losing Fabianski, Viviano, Podolski and Bendtner, as well as certain youth players (miyaichi etc.) we would have a significantly stronger team for an outlay that wouldn't be too much more than what we spent on Ozil, without overly disrupting the good work our team has done this year.
