Police arrest football fan for anchovy stunt

A football fan has been arrested for dumping a crate of fish on the opponents’ bench before a Greek Cup semi-final in the northern city of Thessaloniki.

Police say a 34-year-old supporter of PAOK dumped several kilograms of anchovies on the Olympiacos bench, delaying the start of the match for more than an hour.

Olympiacos are based the Athens port of Piraeus, and its supporters are nicknamed The Anchovies.

    Made me quite nostalgic ~sniff~

Also Blackpool coach shoves one of his players in the face.

I wasn't at the tennis ball protest but I did offer Lloyd a tennis ball which I took to the Cheltenham Festival. He looked at me like he wanted to krill me...
