It's all getting a bit hectic - rather than everyone wading through several threads, 50+ pages and 750+ responses, I thought it might be better for there to be a bit of a summarised thread as opposed to a hectic level of questions being asked that may or may not already have been answered several times. We all have a general idea of what's gone on when it comes to our beloved owners along with AP and Barmby. Anything that you share with us in terms of players though OLM? A lot of talk about Koren, Chester and Stewart all headed to Leicester, with selected users posting 'facts' and blowing things out of proportion when for all we know we may lose nobody. Any chance of a bit of a clear-up? Hopefully this'll save everyone a fair amount of time, if I was a mod (particularly OLM) I'd be losing my mind right about now
I can't shed any light on who might leave, other than I am aware that we've now pissed off several of the players. All I know is what's already in the public domain, we have a bid for Koren from Leicester and we think we may well get bids for Evans, Chester and Stewart, not necessarily all from Leicester(I believe there is Premier League interest in Chester). I'm not sure that anything will happen quickly, I assume a new manager will be appointed before players start coming in and out and I'm not sure how long it will take before that can happen, as Nick will remain manager until his suspension is ended and he's officially sacked(technically, he's currently suspended pending an investigation into his actions).
I've no idea how long Barmby's contract is, I thought it was a one year rolling contract, but I can't actually remember what I've seen to make me think that.
his comments may be breach of contract - i know if i posted something similar on facebook and the bosses WANTED me out they could probably get away with it . As for the coaches i undertood it to be that they weren't part of Barmbys team but more built into the club - so that IF/When a manager leaves the rest of the staff should remain in place . Not sure how complicated that would make attracting future managers - as they always want to do things their way :/ :/
So basically, we've got another season coming up where we are re-building the team after all this seasons hard work has been ****ed up with the current squad after the better players leave.
The member of staff who I find the most intriguing is Darren Robinson, went to the same school as ehab who I assume was the one who hired him, google him he has his own website, he certainly is a big fan of himself and has very inflated view of his achievements, also worked a lot with a certain ex Nottingham forest manager who has been linked with us

He came here from Forest just after NP left, presumably to help fill the void left by Walsh and Shakespeare. He was part of the 'Team Hull' thing.
I imagine it's no coincidence. Either we will have made it publicly known that we have good players available or the agents will have rang round to let other clubs know of their players' interest in moving. Edit: By 'publicly' I mean made it known to other clubs, not necessarily the general public...
