FORMER Portsmouth and Sunderland midfielder Sulley Muntari could join QPR on loan until the end of the season. The Ghana midfielder, whose contract with Inter Milan expires at the end of the season, is said to have agreed to join rival club AC Milan in the summer. The news has infuriated Inter who have decided to send Muntari out on loan until the end of the summer before losing him for free in the summer. The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at Inter Milan and has hardly featured this season. He was on loan at Sunderland last season, but the club opted out of signing him on a permanent deal. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/229962/Sulley-Muntari-to-join-QPR-on-loan/? And the list of players keeps getting longer. Wonder whos next, Kaka? (not that Muntari and Kaka are in the same league)
I think Muntari is a good idea now that Faurlin is out, we need a bit of steel in the midfield. Also the loan doesnt count against our allocation as its from abroad.
"85 seconds of sheer stupidity"! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOXDqeosDvg Hopefully this won't happen if he arrives.
Note the wording of the first line: "FORMER Portsmouth and Sunderland midfielder Sulley Muntari could join QPR on loan until the end of the season." Another who seems to be "available", even if only for a short time, and thus will get linked with us by the hacks.
Would be a great signing if this is true, especially with Ali out. Wont get too exited till I see he has signed though as we are being linked to the world and his wife at the moment.
