I suggest that we have a thread for general QPR chat, rather than having to make a new thread about every little thing. I found myself wanting to chat about something but felt it didn't deserve a whole new thread. So, maybe one of the moderators could create a thread and make it a sticky so that it's always at the top? (and then delete this thread)
But you started a thread about this? Honest opinion : worst idea since Adolf's father looked at his wife one evening and said "Come on Klara, let's retire, I'm feeling a little fruity tonight..." A single thread will be crowded, unwieldy, and pretty much useless after less than a day. You'd never find what you want, and there would be so many different conversations that nobody would use it. Keep it as is - that's my suggestion. Although the point you make about deleting this thread has merit.....
What? Isn't that what this forum is for - general QPR chat? I would say if you want to have a chat go ahead and start a thread - it's is free you know... Looking at some of the threads on here i don't think people will mind, if they don't think its worth discussing then they won't view or comment, if we have one sticky general thread at the top it would become a mini forum wouldn't it?
I like the idea, and I also use it on other forums. Just a community sticky for general chit chat would be good IMHO.
Sticky's are just plain annoying. Always at the top even when there are much more interesting and newer topics. And if you use a 'rolling' chat format it will run to dozens of pages very quickly. Much better just to create a new thread when you have something to say. It only takes a second.
