    Alright fellas...

As some of you will know I live and work in the Smoke. As others will know, I'm a ****ing drunk. I'm not around this weekend as I couldn't get a ticket so I'm watching with my old man, my newborn nephew and his old man. However...

Thought you might benefit from a list of suggested places to drink.

    Soho -
    • Arts and Theatre bar, Frith Street - 6pm onwards. Pricey but if you're looking to pull it's mega. Tunes are decent if the alcoholic manc lady DJ is on.
    • Krobar - 4pm onwards - if you like Led Zep and the Sabbath and what not. Decent beers for cheapish (In london terms) prices include Coopers pale/sparkling ale and Brooklyn.
    • Bradleys Spanish bar, hanway street - 3pm onwards - cool little boozer that used to be a brothel. Estrella damn, Mahou and other spanish beers for around about the £4 mark. The jukebox is ****ing immense. ((My favourite place to drink in London) the owner gives me a bottle of jager to sit at the bar with every so often)
    • Montague pyke, Charring Cross road - the old marquee club that Hendrix and The Who played in. Cheapish by London's standards and **** loads of choice.
    • Toucan bar, Carlisle Street - Supposedly the best Guinness in England.

    Covent Garden -

    • Porterhouse, maiden lane - huge selection of beers in bottles and quite a few of their own on draft.

    Shoreditch (For Gonads) -

Callooh Callay, Zigfried von Underbelly, Hoxton Bar and Grill, The Macbeth, Bedroom bar, Queen of Hoxton. Owt in that area around Hoxton square is decent.

Have fun and sing your hearts out for the lads!

Me and the bairn are looking for a boozer to watch the game in. Probably Covent Garden by the looks.

How old's the kid? The Rileys on Haymarket might be a decent bet as it's got a stupid amount of screens and I can imagine there will be a few Sunderland lads in. Not a place I'd choose to drink in usually but probably your safest bet.

Maybe it's time I stopped calling him "the bairn".

He has bairns of his own. :)

    ****ing hell, Disco, Bradleys!!?

If more than half a dozen had turned up there, they'd have had to lock the front doors - definitely not enough room to swing a Black Cat!!
