Has anyone kept up to date with Westworld? If so any good?

 

I saw most of season 1 then gave up on it, found my mind drifting and in the end just lost interest

It may well have been good if I could've concentrated long enough to find out!

 

New one I saw being trailed on HBO. From one of the makers of the Wire. Think its starts this weekend in the US, so keep an eye out for it:

I thought I'd give Band Of Brothers a try, season one released 2001 yet not included on Amazon Prime..

 

Yeah that was good. Quite a few Brit actors in it. Damian Lewis one of the lead actors.

 

Don't care what it's about, she's worth watching

 

If any of you can put up with subtitles, The Bridge is worth a look..... Nordic Noir I'm told.

Just watched the first two episodes of Banshee and enjoyed it.

 

Right in case anyone wants a new box xet to get into Strike Back - Excellent, series 1-5 on Sky Box sets at the moment, Series one is only 6 episodes, just finished it tonight and looking forward to seeing if series two is as good.

I am also just over half way through Band Of Brothers, thanks to all who suggested it, thoroughly enjoyable.

 

Just finished Series 1 of 'Ozzy & Jack's World Detour'. Excellent. About to start series 2. Not sure I should mention my source

 

Am going to watch this new one. Getting good reviews:

Peaky Binders has got my attention

 

If you don't mind subtitles for foreign stuff (mostly detective series), there are loads free on Channel 4's website. I've recently watched a series of Professor T & am really looking forward to the next one. I also just watched their 6-parter 'Vanished by the Lake' - and watched it in one go. Couldn't help myself. Bit like Broadchurch. The thing about these programs is that they're (usually) the best a country can offer, so the quality is first class.

Arthur's character is completely deranged - great piece of acting.
Love the way it's filmed and the subtle hint of menace. Certainly my favorite series for years.

Guys, just started watching suits last month, into series 2 now - brilliant writing and laugh out loud funny, when you get past the dodgy acting in the pilot. Highly recommended, plus Harry Windsor's betrothed features. Nothing Her Maj would be annoyed about so far, but I'll keep you posted.
