Great show, just rewatching the first 4 series, series 5 just finished here, working up to it, on series 3 atm. Worth a watch mate, not the same thing as Spooks but if you like one, I'm sure you'll like the other. My missus still as nightmares about the chip shop incident in Spooks.
Thanks for the recommendation! I found Spooks very realistic and the rotation of characters made it feel unique and authentic.
It's not really, Johnny. There's lots of shooting & action that's simply sensationalism, prolly to try to crack the US market. We spent most of our time in the office or in cars. Shooting people is really frowned on in MI5, and it's a rarity. It's even rare in MI6. In fact, when on detachment with them, I was up on a charge for offing a raghead that had already shot me. Got myself hanged, didn't I?
I'm talking about for us regular people and a tv show. Not the specifics of shootings, bombings, etc.
Never actually bit a pillow, Infidel, but spent a great Chrissie with he family. Bit a few Craigemoore scotches, but.
Hope you don't mind if extend the suggestions to films lads but I've just watched one that went under my radar which is worth a watch, it stars James McEvoy and Jamie Bell and its called Filth, set in Scotland about the police some weird characters in it, ****ing pissed myself laughing , well worth a watch, anyone else seen it?
Downloading. Another McAvoy film to try - "Inside I'm Dancing". I find it hilarious, others think it's sad. You'll see why if you watch it.
Don’t mind in the slightest myself. I’ve been watching quite a few recently. I got myself an Apple TV box, registered it as USA and have been buying UV codes off the Yanks. Managed to watch quite a few new releases that went out over there a month before they did here, all between $2 and $7
Watching a series called the good place. It's something completely different. It's about someone in the afterlife being in heaven but shouldn't be there. It's a comedy, full of twists.
If anyone has a VPN and a means to watch shows available in the USA via streaming providers like VuDu then I’ve started watching Manifest (NBC), so far so good.
Yes I don’t think they’ve done a second yet, I have the VuDu app installed and got it direct through them
