Good evening all. Great result yesterday and look forward to report from one of the thousands who got to see a good 1st half and Hold the line 2nd. I now revise my early season forecast to Top 6...if, and its big if, we win the next 2 home games....'strange but true' home form! That would put us in cracking shape and form for the Xmas period, when those teams that have it, march onwards and upwards...and others falter and slip to mid-table obscurity. And we scraped that barrell last season! Like others, I do believe that ME would then loosen his purse strings. Why is Anderson still making the cut? And is Gerkhin still the man beween the sticks? or do we give Loachy a shot...! We have had an encouraging start to our Suffolk Punch Campaign. Many thanks to the team that has now migrated over to Hampy's email site: [email protected] so do please take a look at the flow of traffic and join us. We have a Plan and are now keen to move to next stage. The Suffolk Punch Trust has agreed to a meeting before the New Year, and we are readying our first approaches to the Club. The updated Report version 2 is now on that site for those interested, via Hampy who is our IT wizzard. One Action that we can share here, is that we need one or two to check out the practicalities of a Horse walking around the perimeter...or a section of it. Next Tuesday & Saturday's game is the best opportunity if someone can take a camera, and make a few notes. Maybe several of you and we can discuss this on tother site. Do you know, I am really enjoying our matches now...and no longer dread those awful results...and that feeling of doom when one checks out the BBC sports results if been busy!
Excellent work Gaffer. I wonder if a trawl through some match photos, highlights and even google satellite images will help us. I'll volunteer to have a good look through if we struggle to get first hand info. that would be preferable of course though if we can get it.
