GET THE FECK IN!! The only criticism i can make of us tonight, is why we keep on trying to play like Barcelona when all we need to do is hold on to the ball and run out the 90 mins?

All we did by trying to be clever is allow Stoke to nick the ball of us and get chances on goal!!!

Other than that I'm over the ****ing moon. We keep on battling and the pundits can all shove their humble pie up their arses, never mind eat it.

I can see it now "Newcastle United were fortunate to catch Stoke off form..."

Ratings -

Krul - 9 - A few little edgey moments, but apart from that he played extremely well.

Simmo - 8 - Good game for him tonight, best I've seen him play yet. Well done Simmo lad.

Taylor - 8 - Good game.

Colo - 7.5 - Good game but I'd say he was the "least good" of our defenders tonight.

Raylor - 8 - Great game.

Ober - 7.5 - Can't fault him too much tonight. He was wasteful a lot of the time as usual, but played better than he has so far this season. Great ball in, raped Stoke at times.

Guthrie - 7.5 - I hope the people that say he's **** in defense will suck on it. He's no where near as good as Tiote defensive wise, but he did his job well.

Cabaye - 7 - Made some great passes, defended well at times, but overall not a great game. A good **** though.

Jonas - 9.5 - As an overall performance; I'd say he was MOTM, but unfortunately the hat rick has to clinch it for Ba. Jonas was ****ing excellent tonight. Lost the ball when he didn't need to at times, but he was fantastic in defense, and good in attack. Some great passing. JONAS YOU ****ING BEAST!!

Best - 8 - Great hold up play, good link up and assisted the 2nd goal. Great game.

Ba - 9.5 - HAT TRICK HERO!! Such a ****ing beasty player! What a steal!! **** off Stoke fans!!! Hhahahahahhahhahahaha ****s!!

Perch - 2 - Wtf was the point in bringing him on? I know Cabaye wasn't great tonight, but Perch is almost as **** as Smith for getting booked and being all round a **** player.

Sammy and Gosling - N/A

MOTM - Has to be Demba Demba. Excellent penalty as well!!

Overall - SUCK ON IT PULIS YOU LITTLE FAT ****! You got beat by a team that can ****ing play football and exposed your ****ty **** tactics, **** you!!

aside from that I think you were a bit hard on Perch, his second tackle was a good one.

 

For the first time Tash, I am 100% behind your vehement passion. I'm thrilled as hell to beat Stoke entirely because of their awful fans who will have to go home miserable. Cabaye I'd probably give a 6.5 to, he looked a little lost in the tactic Pardew had us play. As for Perch my guess is that he was brought on to prevent us knocking the confidence of our euro lads who may have been bullied by the 6 foot 5 monsters.

 

Rape was in there a few times as well.

I said that HBA shouldn't have started today and i was right. We needed Best and Ba in defense and i reckon HBA would have been caught out too much.

Thats what I thought and most the time the ball just ended back to them because they are better in the air.

Unusually - for the most part - I agree with you, particularly in praising Guthrie.

However.

I swear you have tourettes and honestly Pulis isn't fat - he is many things but he is never fat.

Great overall performance from the team. Krul looked a bit shaky but it's quite normal because most keepers sh*t themselves when they play at the Britannia. As for Perch he just needs to calm his enthusiasm... picking an easy yellow card is bad especially when there's still a lot of time on the clock ... My MoTM's go to Ba, Jonas and Obertan... Ba for his consistent goal scoring threat ; Jonas for sacrificing what he does best to help in defensive duties ; and Obertan for showing what he's capable of ...
