This game couldn't have been more perfect. Stoke fouling us like twats all game, Stoke fans ****ing when they scored.

We get a beautiful goal from a freekick, and a last minute Cisse winner. So glad he scored.

Good performance. I thought we dealt with them well defensively, and we cut them open with good football.

Ratings -

Elliot - 7 - Didn't have any difficult saves to make, but was strong in the air and made some good claims. His distribution was good at times also.

Debuchy - 7.5 - Good going forward, and did well defensively.

Saylor - 8 - Solid.

Mbiwa - 8 - Also solid. Good on the ball. Did well.

Santon - 7.5 - Really threatening to Stoke going forward, and was good in defence for most of the match, apart from a few mistakes. Made some great tackles.

Tiote - 6.5 - ****ing pissed off at him about the penalty, but I thought he was good up until that point. He played in a more deep role and looked a lot better.

Cabaye - 8 - Sexual goal. The bloke is almost 100% clinical with freekicks inside 20-25 yards. Great performance. Good defending and good passing up top.

Jonas - 6.5 - Good work rate, and played well with Santon.

Gouff - 7 - Some sloppy moments, but he tortured Stoke 1st half. He made some great runs and Stoke had to be at their best to stop him at times.

Sissoko - 7.5 - Great running on the ball, a bit inconsistent with his passes though. The bloke isn't amazingly technical, but makes use of what he has, so we shouldn't expect a great end product after each run he makes. However, he had great moments within the game, and won us the freekick that lead to the goal.

Cisse - 6.5 - He always gets in good positions, and he was cool at the right moment and won us the game. Some nice bits of skill during the game and decent build up play. But he was smothered by Stoke for the majority of the game.

Haidara - 7 - The lads a good prospect indeed. Good work rate. His inexperience still shows, but he looks a great all round player. Good in defence, and gets up the pitch well. Contrary to those watching the Anzi away game might think, he seems to have the ability to put a good ball into the box. He whipped in a very dangerous one late in the game.

Marv - 7 - A really good sub by Pards, and it payed off. His skill and acceleration on the ball was difficult for Stoke, and a lovely ball by Marv to set up the winning goal.

MOTM - I'll give it to Yohan. Great goal and good performance.

Overall - Great win. Joint 10th, and I think if we keep going, we can do well in Europe, and finish strongly in 10th, and that will constitute a good season for us, seeing as we've been hit hard with injuries.

 

Did anyone else delay their celebration for the Cisse goal because they thought it was offside?

It's hard to know when goals are coming, I find it a miracle that I managed to get the Cabaye and Ben Arfa goals on cam when I did LOL.
