Intresting read SA9 , we should be immensly proud of our club and board, i think the penny is starting to drop with other clubs now, they are starting to realise that its not the manager(as we have proved) its the structure that is put into place. I honestly think we are ahead of the curve from 99% of clubs and this will serve us well for many years irrelevent of what league we are in. If we can stay up his season we may well progress into a solid prem team and may never return to how we were as a club, this is the most important year in SCFC history , survival is important this year. it is probably the most important season in the clubs history...scary thought !! Well done Huw and the board, who would have thought we would be pissed off with losing to the likes of Everton and Aston villa just a few years back ??
Yes a very good read and obviously hugely important to survive this season. There is talk of John Jensen coming in the New Year to support ML. Perhaps after reading this HJ is making sure ML does a probationary period first?
Good read SA9. Shows we are being run properly and as Norway said, we do things totally different here, we pick the manager to suit Swansea ethos, and dont pick a manager because of theres, its Swanseas way or no way. This year is massivley important to us, if (when) we stay up, the new TV money will give us vital money to grow the infrastucture of the club. The only problem im worried about is that we are going to be 'TO' attractive as an investment to a rich business man or consortium, and flashing a couple of hundred million to HJ and co will change things. It great being a jack!!!!
If we made 14 million last accounting year & we have Allen , Rodgers & Sinclair 's money coming in next time around , I can see the team making a 30 million profit next accounting year at least . Laudrup will want to spend the 6.5 million on De Guzman when his loan is done though . P.S. I did a thread in early July and predicted this on July 7th ... " John " Faxe " Jensen will join the Swansea coaching staff before the season starts " ... Ok , he didn't but I was on the right track if he comes in in January!
