Nasri and Cesc are possibly both out the door this summer at 23/24 years old we've invested in them to make them top players but when they finally reach that level they appear to want out of the club.

Cesc is slightly different as Barcelona is his home town club and he has close links to the current squad

Nasri on the other hand has been at Arsenal for 3 years and only really delivered for half a season.

I'd be frustrated with each of them if they left but can you really blame them. Being part of a team which has had 6 years with no success must but questions marks in their heads and we don't pay the top wages so any competitive player would want more (success or money or both).

There seems a shift in loyalty as there were more players willing to spend the rest of the career at the club or for Wenger but back then it that was an easier descion as the team actually won competitions and seemed to be in a healthier position.

There were examples of those who still wanted more (Overmars, Petit, Cole) but that seemed to be partly down to our reluctance to pay higher wages.

Wenger can't have a plan to build if it keeps getting dismantled, Adebayor, Gallas, Flamini, Hleb and now possibly Clichy, Nasri and Cesc and we're taking more steps back.

That's why this is such an important season, the decent players still left (Van Persie, Vermaelen and co) won't stay too much longer if there's another fruitless season.

INVEST NOW!! BUILD A TEAM MENTALITY WHERE PLAYERS WANT TO BE AT OUR CLUB!!

You could argue that playing well throughout the whole season (and I know someone like RVP is not guilty of this but it's a general point) and not messing up in big games breeds success. Yes, investment in players is needed, but some of the players should look to themselves, they're capable of better and it's not just Wenger's fault that results were so poor last season after February.

    No, money breeds loyalty
Real Madrid are doing well, but Ronaldo would leave for Man City
I know its not due to money, but Tevez is/wants to leave Man City even though they're better now
Rooney and his debarcles this year
Viera in 2001/2 and him wanting more money
It's money nowadays, not winning <ok>
