For me the wrong move by NP today, I thought Devitt was trying to open up the Millwall defence and to replace with him Simpson playing down the flanks just did not make it any better. Mclean looks a Div 1 striker to me and made little impression against an average Millwall.

As soon as he went off there was a serious lack of movement in the team, not much space due to there being no width at all, and tbh the system of the 4-3-3 really did not work for us and never really has.

I must have been at a different game.

Devitt was awful today.I'd have taken him after half an hour.

I assumed NP was trying to give us a bit more strength (in Simpson) to try and force our way through what was a very solid Millwall back 4.

I was disappointed to see Devitt come off, he was playing some tidy football and looked the one player most likely to create a goal. I'd have brought Simpson on for Mclean who works hard all game, while creating almost nothing, he's even started missing half his headers and his first touch resembles mine. :emoticon-0120-doh:

I would also have brought Garcia on ahead of Amoo, as from what I've seen so far, he can't actually play football at all.

I thought Devitt was doing OK, maybe not brilliant, but better than most. Subs certainly didn't add anything.

I think we missed Rosenior (to give an attacking option down the right) and Barmby for the passion. I don't think I've seen the team so bad since beginning of the season. Hope they are both back soon.

I have to agree with most of that although Amoo needs some guidance I thought he was dead fast ? yet he wanders about rather than hugging the sideline.

Agreed Scooterman, Amoo has been crap so far. We should just tell him to **** off back to Liverpool now. <ok>
