Suffice to say that was sublime
A win at the very best time,
    When needed the most
    So give them a toast
For hauling us out of the grime

This time when the going was tough
The tough really did show the stuff,
    They´re made of, I´d say
    To round off a day
Which should make everyone feel chuffed

Many things today made me smile
Not only winning by a mile,
    Ruddy back was one
    Saving shots for fun
    And handling everything in style

But Hoolahan too was pure class
    Matching for once Robert Snodgrass,
    Who did it again
    Terrorised the men
Detailed to stop him getting past

But everyone did their job there
Determined to keep us up here,
    And Hughton C too
    Deserves praise, for few
Would have done much better this year. OTBC

Hi bors, Wow, what a performance!!! I said a few weeks ago our strikers couldn't hit a barn door if it fell on them. What a transformation, they not only hit the barn door, they knocked it off its hinges. Well done lads. That was the team we all knew could perform. Commitment, determination and flair brought the reward they thoroughly deserved but a word of caution, hopefully they will have learnt from this display and not revert back to negative defensive football. Holty had the pleasure of support up front and it was definitely his best game of the season. His tap in was no more than he deserved for following up what would normally have been a lost cause. A brilliant team effort. One game to go to end what has been a hectic season and one the team can go out on in a blaze of glory, if Wigan can beat Man Cini, then our lads should have the belief they can do the same. ColMike bor, for the first time you have finally got a fact right. Yes, being CANARIES we are bird brained but you must not forget that Colchester natives are brainless!!! Now the big question: will Houdini Athletic once again avoid the drop ? Nice to be just interested spectators and watch others squirm LOL Hope Villa stay up, looking forward to reversing our last encounter with PL.
