I remember the first match of the season against West Brom, where Suarez had missed a bunch of chances. There were numerous debates on here questioning whether Suarez is a natural goalscorer or not.

I remember repeating what a pundit said that day: "He creates most of the chances himself, so when he gets in position to shoot, he's not set like a natural finisher would be". Of course we had the likes of Downing and Joe Cole playing the day. Players that you wouldn't exactly put money on to create a clear cut chance for Suarez to finish off.

In recent matches, mainly thanks to the impressive performances from Sterling and Enrique, amongst others, our reliance on Suarez has shifted from his creativity to his finishing, and he is delivering.

I'm particularly impressed with the way Enrique has linked up with Suarez in the past couple of matches. It's like he instinctively knows where Suarez is going to be when he prepares to pass.

Yeah been happy with Enrique the last few games thought he was in line for MOTM only for Suarez stealing the show

The last few games he has shown the sort of form like he did 10 months ago hopefully he builds on his performance and his goal

Downing must feel like the worst footballer in the world.

He lost his place in the team to a 17 year old, an out of position 18 year old and an out of position left back.

  8. I still don't think Suarez is a natural finisher but he has certainly improved this season. Sterling has definitely helped recently, I thought Raheem was brilliant today and deserved to be the MOTM <ok>

Suarez is the best player in the league at the moment.

No-one can have as big an impact individually on a game as he is having currently.

He's head and shoulders above every other forward in the league currently and it doesn't surprise at all that all these big teams want him. They won't get him though.

    Top goalscorer. Best player.

I already feel sorry for Swansea's centre backs.
