Yet the other part of the story about Ronaldo to United you believe<doh> I call that selective stupidity

Whatever makes you think i believe that? do you just assume that just because i am a United supporter. You can do better than that Sisu!

Simple fact is for players of quality, taking part is not enough<ok> RvP? Fab, song? Suarez wants to win, so Arsenal would not be the destination.

Arsenal are as sure to qualify for the CL as you say, as they are sure to not win anything, Suarez wants to win not just take part<ok>

Maybe he has enough faith in his ability to think he could be the man to turn Arsenal into winners.

Bale had about 7 good games last season in the new year. He has never been consistent and has never won anything.

Suarez is a World Cup semi finalist, Copa America winner. Better goal scorer for club and country than Cavani and 2nd top goal scorer last season, only for getting suspended.

There is no chance Suarez is over valued by ourselves, it is fully justified. If anything the Cavani transfer and Bale tranfer should make us hold out for £60m+

Do you think this is because of the player`s ability or the club he plays for?

Utd have had some dogs playing for them down the years Diego and they relied on the skill of others to win silverware, it's the old Cantona never won a CL winners medal syndrome, Bale is reliant on the players in the team he plays in no matter how much skill he has.

To the same level that the younger Michael Owen; ie he needs his teammates around him but he can create something out of nothing using his pace <ok>

Yep, i knew that ;)

At this moment in time he hasn't, Owen had speed, guile and goals(and trophy winning performances:FA Cup), Bale's had a couple of good seasons so far.<whistle>

Bale is more energetic, works for the team, can tackle, cross and take freekicks, all things that Owen never did / had.

TBF, I was never a massive fan of Owen when he played for us, never mind when he left. I could see that his game was very limited and would be ****ed once his pace went. Still, he curved a superb career out of the attributes he had and was on target to become England's leading scorer at one point too <ok>
