You must be a bloody nightmare to work for.

On topic- it's good that Ayre is making those noises, though we all know that people can say one thing one minute and do the opposite the next. If nothing else though, a bullish stance may keep the price up if we do sell.
However, for the first time in weeks, I'm beginning to think we may just keep hold of him. If we do, and if we get Costa, think of the fun the press are going to have with us.

Even the Arsenal legend, Ian Wright, doesn't see the point in Suarez moving to Arsenal - for the exact same reasons we told the Gooners why it wouldn't make sense; not won anything, not going to win anything, lost all their best players, no ambition, money to spend but aren't spending...

This line amused me though; they can challenge for the title, sure, but if they buy 8 (eight!) new players <laugh>
"I would like to see them go as far as they can to get Suarez, but they can't just buy him and not replenish the rest of the team. I think they need a goalkeeper, two centre-halves, two full-backs - for both left-back and right-back positions - another midfielder and two strikers.

So just a whole new team then.

Arsenal man talking sense. He's right Suarez is too good to go to a team who's biggest acheivement over last few years has been just about scraping into 4th place every year he should wait for something better to come along.

Like what he said about the not being any players you'd desperately want to play with. Brutal honesty and completely true.
