A great player but how any club or fans could ignore his disgusting behaviour is beyond me. Fans interviewed leaving the ground seem to think all is well once he scores goals. I've never liked Liverpool but respected them for their principles but not any more. Suarez must be properly dealt with this time a la Cantona in his kung fu days
I was just heading over here to make a very similar post after reading about this. Something needs to be done about him, not the first time he's bitten someone either. And to think he's on the 6 man shortlist for player of the season? Now I know he obviously has a lot of skill (when he isn't diving) but is that really the image that the FA want to send out as player of the season. What happened to "bringing the game into disrepute" and setting examples for kids to aspire to. Sooner he leaves the Premiership, and English football, the better.

Guidance to referees is that any player with a blood injury or bloodstained kit must leave the field of play. This rule was brought in many years ago due to risk of contracting aids via blood. Another way of contracting aids is via being bitten. The FA has a duty of care towards players and must take a lead and set an example by banning Suarez for a very long time. An exemplary punishment of at least TWO years, so that no other player will even consider doing a similar thing. This punishment must be backed by FIFA and made worldwide, so that 'this animal' does not escape punishment.
The FA have a real chance to make a statement on this one and make an example of him. Let's hope, for once, they have enough backbone to see it through.

After the racial comments towards Evra and now this which is just bizzare let alone a health risk I hope he doesn't have a future in English football. Hopefully Rogers will man up and kick him out of the door in summer.
