By text wishing Brendan Rodgers goodluck against Southampton. http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/latest-news/169078-rodgers-suarez-sent-message-of-support
big... swinging.... mickey... also its football related so his ban should be immediately extended to 3 years Look I don't really care, he did a letter, he sent a text, he got us 75mil.. great.. he can come sit in the stands when on international "break" or christmas break and wave to the crowd.. fine. but he still bit a third player the mad bartard.
Barca's PR team probably told him to send it and then put a presser out to the media or got the info out there some other way, like the apology they made him write before they signed him.
this probably, not that i care either way. i don't even know why this is newsworthy to be honest. an ex player sends his best regards to the club he used to play for, so what?
It's meaningless. If he really wanted to send a message then he'd have contacted his 'best mate' in the team and asked them to pass on his best wishes. As for BR, he'd have phoned him!
he is an ex LFC player. Just hope the same happens as happened when Owen left to win more and missed out on a CL trophy, although I would prefer the PL this time.
I have mixed feelings about him... he's obviously a right prat for all the biting- and all the harm he caused the reputation of our team, etc. However, he did so much for us, and he didn't shaft us to leave like Owen did. Didn't turn a transfer request to go to a rival like Torres did. He never bad-mouthed the team or expressed frustrations in public. He left us cordially and doesn't deserve malice from us like Owen and Torres got.
Sorry Milk but he did do a couple of those things! He was pushing to go to Arsenal without a doubt and had his lawyers checking through the contract and also spoke out about an agreement that BR had with him that BR denied. We got some good cash for him and 110% effort as always even though he felt he got shafted with that promise - and I'll always respect him for that.
I loved the footballing entertainment Suarez provided, I loved his on pitch passion, desire, skill and goals. However, I didn't like the diving, arguing and general little type attitude that he clearly showed every game. Throw in the biting, talking to the media and trying to force a move to a rival then I'm not so bothered he's gone. Twisting it round, would anyone here spend £75m to buy him back...?
No, you have to draw a line at some point.... He just won't stop getting banned and you've got to be looking at a full season if he does it again now surely.
He's frustrating, true, but I still like him. I think he's just a man-child and I see the biting as an immature manifestation of his desperate need to win. It's definitely a bizarre thing to do, but as has been said many times before, it's probably better to be on the receiving end of one of his love-bites than an elbow in the gob from say, Fellaini. Interestingly, his victims seem significantly less outraged than the self-styled moral guardians in the media and on these boards. So he sends a message of good luck to the club for the coming season- fine, it's no big deal either way. As always, everything Suarez does is blown out of all proportion. I'm sorry to see him go, he was all-round great entertainment. I'd have kept him except for the fact that I'm convinced he'll do something stupid again in the near future, and if he does, we could be left with a white elephant. As it is, we got rid at the right time and got a great price for him. We move on, and so does he. He's a flawed but extraordinary talent, and I wish him well. Unless we play him.
no malice, just don't understand why this is newsworthy is all. no hard feeling on either side, which is good to see, but he isnt coming back is he lol. anyone on here see ronaldo, bale and suarez ever gracing the prem again sometime in the future?
