Just wanted to put something out there....Don't get me wrong I am a big Andy Carroll fan and have backed him a lot even when things weren't going well...I would also love him to stay but having watched a lot of last seasons matches I am the only one that notices that when Andy is Playing Luis seems to get lost in games. The problem is that Andy has to stay in the middle so when anyone turns in field they are blocked off by him and the defenders....for the 4-3-3 to work and for the sake of Luis Suarez unfortunatley Andy can't play...look at what he has done for Uruguay and in that charity match...we need more movement. If Andy stays surely he is just back up and plan B get the ball inot the box and whe we have tried this it doesnt seem to work
I find Suarez gets lost when he plays the lone striker, gets isolated too easily. Hopefully BR's philosophy will see strikers get isolated less often.
how does he get lost if ''you find him getting lost'' ? that's the real question that needs answering
Surely when I get lost other people can still see me he's lost not invisible. I actually see the point but I think that was a lack of partnership understanding earlier in the year. I think they linked up better later on in the year. Far from perfectly but signs of improvement at least. Keep in mind the totally different styles of football they have played before being paired at Liverpool and I think it was always unlikely to gel straight away.
But if someone finds you Billy then you're not lost . I once was lost, but now am found, Was blind, but now I see.
Cheap shot that...you just edited one of my best posts ever I am formally announcing my intentions to stand against you at the next mod elections And if you edit this message you are Michael Flattley...so there.
one example: 4-3-3..... 2005, drogba, duff, robben up front. drogba didn't score too many but was the lynch pin..... who left chelsea? not drogba. so if guys turn inside and run into defenders is it andy's fault or good defenders? ..................................................... here's the thing, criticize andy for being lazy, not closing down, drifting... moving out wide and leaving no-one in the middle... criticize him for missing the target way way too often but I cannot see any way on earth he can be told its his fault downing is rubbish or suarez is lost on a pitch....
When it comes to Suarez and Carroll I think there is one man who knows the answer..... Suarroll Gerrez and Carrard.
Suarez lost on the pitch? not sure on that one Mito, I think he just needs to be a in free roaming type of roll. C. Ronaldo has that where he starts out wide but moves throughout. Rooney does it a bit as well.
No I just want to be able to edit peoples messages....a period under Billys fascist regime would do you all good I hope Mandy stays by the way (just to keep you on topic bollox).
