A firmly luke warm apology, no actual acknowledgement of blame just saying a bite occurred during a collision is not the same as admitting the clear conscious thought that he had that he was going to bite Chiellini and apologising for that. He's said several times before that he won't be part of actively damaging the image of the game we all love but here he is again.
This is a statement crafted by Lawyers with the intent of showing contrition without guilt laying ground work for and appeal with CAS.

I keep hearing on twitter the only reason he 'apologized' is because Barca insisted on it if he wants them to sign him.

Wouldn't surprise me, and given it literally the least he could possible apologies its seem like its a reaction to being told to do it by someone else not due to any actual contrition.

His not sorry at all everyone knew he bit Chiellini, yet days after Suarez pleads innocence claiming he walked into him? Then afterwards a letter drafted by Suarez's PR person apologising, the guy has no remorse it's a load of bollocks, he should be fined his wages for a whole season as he'll do something again.

Don't believe so, just this "lawyers apology" that says as little as possible so that he can still appeal his ban.

If he really wanted to show he was sorry he could have donated a nice tidy pile of cash to a sporting charity of some description too.
