This Saturday Paul Sturrock will be bringing his high flying Southend Utd to Home Park.Have been wondering what he will be thinking and feeling as he comes out of the tunnel and walks towards the away dugout, any thoughts anybody?

I hope he will be feeling a little less happy than he starts out when the match is over aka. I think he probably does have some feelings left for Argyle although he is obviously going to give nothing our way on Saturday. If he could have the 3 points and then be sure Argyle would stay in the league I'm sure he would be happier about it. I don't subscribe to people's total cynisism that football people are only ever mercenary and have no feelings for anyone or anything else. Some of them do care and he has too much history with us not to feel anything. I hope people give him a good reception and then we stuff his side.

    I hope it's a decent one.

Whilst Sturrock II was an unmitigated disaster for PAFC, what he's done at Southend shows that Sturrock I wasn't a flash in the pan and his illness doesn't seem to be holding him back now.

Why he can do it in the lower leagues but seems to struggle the higher up he goes I have no idea.

    I agree with notDistant.

He should really be remembered for the work he did to push Argyle to the Championship.

When he came back he was a shadow of his former self but now at Southend he has built another promotion chasing team. I just hope we can cause an upset.

The proof of where he operates best is in his career stats. Championship and above is not his teritory. He does best on a shoe string when he needs to find his "wee nugets" and worst when he has real money to spend. In our situation now he would be a god send.
