....hit and miss so far but done ok. As you say he needs to be consistently good. This is his big chance to prove himself but needs to deliver week in week out for us before thinking about anything else.
I hate it when players start talking like this. Do your talking on the pitch! Sturridge was involved in England not too long ago and still is a bit part player at times, but I think he has a few players ahead of him at the moment such as Rooney, Welbeck and Walcott. The best thing someone can tell him is if he concentrates on playing well for Liverpool, the England chances will come
Having an England international doesn't hold much weight these days. But to hold down a regular starting spot up front would suggest that you are doing well for Club. Hope Sturridge can find that form for us.
I think he has done really well so far with us and as I've said I am surprised by his all round game.
