Although I think it's funny and I've been laughing all morning but how is ngog valued at 7-8 million, Liverpool paid £1.5m for him and he Has no improved his last goal was 6th December but yet he gets that valuation???

Surely getting all cash would of Been better for them, they could of bought Ameobi for £3mil and not only would he score more he wouldn't get a handful against them either.

    Anyway hahahahahahahahahahaha

Why do so many people make crap articles on here now? We've all seen the news about 3 times, no need to shove it in our faces once more.

The more worrying thing about the North East is the amount of **** being produced on Not606 since the season ended :(

Syd is right. SkySports say £16million + N'Gog. Although I would prefer a full £19million/£20million we are getting another body to pad out the squad. Hopefully he can do a decent job for us. We'll wait and see.

I think we need to get the Mods to attempt to delete/merge pointless threads like this which have already been written about five times, and really are nothing to do with Newcastle...

On topic, if £3m, that's a decent price although I think yous should probably be aiming a little higher than Ngog. If £7m, Bruce needs his head checked out

To be fair to Bruce/Quinn/Whoever sanctioned the deal, £3m/£4m isn't THAT bad.

People talk about Hendo's apparent potential, N'Gog is only a year and a bit/2 years older than him!

Like i've said on another thread, there is a big difference between £3/4mil and £7mil. We need a squad of players and he'll be useful up front.

No I have not , I have memorized this stunning statistic <ok>

Did you know N'Gog scored 9 goals in 63 games? That's a poor record mate.

in a way i am pleased he hasnt scored more, as the price would be a lot higher 10-15 million if he had scored 30 goals in 63 appearances.

he is still only young, played 2nd fiddle to torres for most of his time there, has pace, playing for a big team so pressure on him as well, I am quite happy with 3.5 million for a 21 year old with premier league experience. tbh he reminds me of welbeck, and he hasnt exactly set the world on fire at Man U, but he did for us until he got injured.

Time will tell, if he is mint Liverpool may buy him back for 20 million in a year or 2, if he is ****e, we will still be able to sell him for 3-4 million in a year or 2.

Logic dictates that if he'd have scored more (as you suggest) then he wouldn't have been a make weight in a transfer deal and you wouldn't have landed him in return for Henderson.

Or you could write it another way by saying that "Did you know that NGog has scored 9 goals in only 19 starts for Liverpool"?
