Balotelli AND Lambert up top against Villa? Keep the shape?

Or are they too similar? B.A.B. as an attack force instead?

There aren't any details yet, are there?
    He may be ok.

I hope he's withdrawn from the England camp and then fit for us.

England striker Daniel Sturridge has been sent for a scan after he was injured in training on Friday.

The Football Association has not revealed the nature of the injury and says Sturridge will be assessed by England's medical staff after his scan.

Liverpool forward Sturridge, 25, played 89 minutes of the 1-0 friendly win over Norway at Wembley on Wednesday.

Roy Hodgson's men face Switzerland in their opening Euro 2016 qualifier in Basel on Monday.

    More to follow.

If we're lucky, he'll just miss the Swiss game and be fit for Villa. Maybe not though.

no if he teaked a hammy he is out of villa and the cl game at least AND should be immediately released back to lfc. a tiny tear on a scan should be treated as out period... no question. if he plays he should be told in no uncertain terms he's let his employer down here

I wouldn't wish an injury on the lad and I'm not laughing at it either - I was smiling at the Woy fume though.

I'm sure he'll be fine and if it is a hamstring strain I doubt he'll make the same mistake again, but if the lad says he feels fine.........

He's done similar things at the very least. Hodgson doesn't care about the players long-term health- he just wants them to play for England. He's willing to cripple players as long as it means England loses 2-0 instead of 3-0.
