how long does it take between finishing your degree and wanting all students to be taxed and charged into the ground? personally it was about a year, it co-incided with them taking my student overdraft off me. when i was a student i used to bitch about how in the past students got a lot more help from the gov but i regard most of them as leeching bastards and i want the tories to gut them <laugh>

this makes for some interesting chats as Mrs.LR is a phd student who wants to become a lecturer <laugh>

it all comes down to the conservative socialist thing Dougie. i'm all for public services and gov money as long as it benefits me or goes in my pocket, otherwise i'd cut it harder and faster than Thatcher <ok>

It wouldn't affect Scotland as much seeing as the SAAS pays uni tuition fees here <ok> Seeing as I'm planning on becoming a full time student, I no longer think they should be taxed at all <ok>

****ing ****s SAAS are. I'm getting £120 out of every pay packet to those SAAS pricks. I get paid twice a month so they're taking £240 every month off me. Plus the interest is £30 a month too. It's ****ing scandalous.

i nearly voted SNP when they said they would scrap student debt but managed to fight the urge. i think this was binned on the 1st day after they were elected <laugh>

i thought the tories were going to back date the increase in operational allowance for afghan to last year (i would've been in line for a free £2k) but only went as far back as the 6th of May <grr>if they'd given me my two grand i'd have been a tory voter for life from that moment on <laugh>

    i'm a whore

<laugh> I was the same but I knew that fat, lying bastard Salmond would scrap it. Apparently it would only have affected students who started full-time study after 2006 anyway. I started in 2002. Plus the SNP are a bunch of chest-beating no-marks
