Whether we’re still in it or not which will be the toughest teams in the Championship next season from these or others? I have included the promoted teams because recently they have done well in this division.

    Possibly Relegated (3 from 4)
    Blackburn
    QPR
    Wigan
    Wolves

    Existing Champ teams (9 – or hopefully 10 – from 12)
    Southampton
    Reading
    West Ham
    Birmingham
    Blackpool
    Middlesbrough
    Cardiff
    Brighton
    Leeds
    Leicester
    Crystal Palace
    Ipswich

    Possibly promoted (3 from 5)
    Charlton
    Sheff. Utd.
    Sheff. Wed.
    Huddersfield
    MK Dons

What a pointless thread. You don't know who, for certain, six of the teams will be and what will happen in the summer transfer window with the teams left in the championship.

I would sooner see Reading go up than West Ham because Reading will probably have more cash for transfers.
West Ham could be in a fair bit of financial strife if they don't go up this time and that could mean a weaker squad.

Keep this for the summer when we know who is in and out.

BUT FORGET WEST HAM,,, IF they dont go up. There will be a summer fire sale there. Also DQPR could be another mess in the making. For now lets just wait and see and enjoy the climax of this season.

I agree. I also think Birmingham will be screwed if they don't go up this season too. To be fair I think both Hull and Leeds will be two if the better placed teams to mount a serious challenge next season.

A few more yorkie derbies chucked in as well......

Yes i forgot about Birmingham. Could be one or two teams even starting on -10 points come august.

It would be good if both sheffields and huddersfield could come up but alas i fear that charlton will keep top spot. so its Charlton and both Sheffield clubs for me to come up.

If we do stay in the championship it would be nice for both Sheffield clubs to be there too

If we weren't to go up would be good to see 2 of The Blunts, The Wendies or Hudders come up to add to the derbies, especially as Donny will probably drop down. We'll know more in the summer though as to what type of challenges the Championship will pose next season.
