Comparatively Keane (what were thinking signing someone with that name) and Carol Andie were worse.

    Balotelli worst Ever....

    No question.

If we'd bought well we could have scraped 4th.... we ended up 6th.

Rodgers is lucky he was not sacked on this

More likely Rodgers avoided getting sacked by saying "I ****ing told you this would happen" and FSG said "yeah la you did to be fair, soz let's just put last season behind us, mistakes all round"

What was his excuses when he spent £50m on Lallana, Lovren and Lambert?

  7. Keane was actually a decent signing. He scored the goals in the first half of the season when we finished second (when Torres was surprisingly injured <whistle>). It was club politics that made to ridiculous.

Without doubt, Balotelli is our worst ever signing. Not the most expensive but what we're the club thinking? He was never going to fit and I've not come across anyone that was convinced otherwise!

He was never going to fit when the manager set up in a 4-2-3-1 and left him isolated ... <whistle>

We saw the same with Benteke in the first 2 games - it's not until we play with 3 in midfield do we start to support him.

  9. If I remember correctly, Keane was bought to play behind Torres allowing Gerrard to play a bit deeper. Unfortunately, both Torres and Gerrard had injury problems that season so we didn't get to see how it would materialise.

yes you are right and rafa admitted he wanted keane. i think he got 7 goals and it was only when he was sold that the next time torres got injured we fell apart v wigan and boror and droped so far off the pace we could not catch up

rafa's bull head cost us that title IMO

What i don't get is how he can be so monumentally ****e for us and yet he's seemingly gonna walk straight back into the Milan starting XI wtf?!

Milan aren't great to be honest.

But if you look at this record, he's been decent for most teams bar Liverpool.

Did he fail at Liverpool because of himself or the manager? ... <whistle>

he failed cos he's a ****ing numpty end of story... don't even go there... he's a turd of a player who should never have been signed

can't you even see they were delighted to get 16mil so if he was that good why?

    cos he's a total numpty

    Agree with this.

    He's been awful everywhere he's played ...

However @Jimmy Squarefoot your last question is valid

We just don't know enough about the situation, like who identified Balotelli as a target, who ultimately decided to pull the trigger ... if Rodgers was involved then he should take a large part of responsibility, but you can't blame him for being unable to coach a player effectively if he was against the signing knowing that Balo wouldn't fit into his methods. Alright maybe you could say a truly good coach would bend a player to his will and remould him but the player has to be willing of course and Balo is a lazy ass motherfucka

Because they needed the money. And now they have the chance to get him back... ?

Anyways let's move on - let's appreciate his ability and his character.

He will leave a legend. <ok>
