er....can you be arrested for carrying a firework....? For sure you can't be taking them in a football stadium but since when was carrying a firework an arrestable offence...? No wonder the old bill hit their arrest targets in November.....

2-3000 maybe ? depends on the weather i guess. but it should be another good following and putting the few home fans in there place, Vocally i mean.

Invasion of ones privacy i would suggest. apart from my mobile - money and keys what are they expecting to find ? a great job for the johnny jobsworths. ruddy olympics, can we send them back. ? :emoticon-0114-dull:

I know you're the eternal optimist, but that's a bit strong even for you, we'll be lucky to get 1,000 to turn up to Coventry two weeks before Christmas.

It looks like getting into a football match will be harder than getting into the country, the worlds gone mad.
A football crowd has no resemblance to an Olympic venue, the characteristics and flow patterns are completely different. They would be better served testing at the Santas Grotto queue.

You can be arrested for it if the search is taking place when you're trying to gain entry to a football stadium where it's illegal to be in possession of them, which these searches will be.

Is an Olympic football crowd going to flow through the turnstiles differently to an ordinary football crowd at the same venue?

As of 5.00pm today, we'd only sold 600 tickets.
