Well we clearly need Togo to lose either today or on Wednesday, for a start.
There must be a worthwhile free agent available as a stopgap, too. Saha, for one.
Apart from that, I guess Kane or Obika will have to be given a shot, as Dempsey's clearly unsuitable for the role.

Obika. It's time to unleash him, he's been held back too long, and why spend 20 million on a brazil international when we have Obika?...think about it.

Can we register Freund to play? He always looked like he had goals in him.

Bale up front? I'd rather see him there than Dempsey tbh, Dempsey looks more suited to playing wide anyway.

  9. It's a shame that Alan Sugar isn't still our chairman, as I'm sure the tabloid hacks would be able to work "Sugar Kane" into their lame headlines.

    I have a plan...

Ade only went to the ACoN at Togo's president personally requested he play. Given how FIFA are opposed to political interference in football, and often bring sanctions against nations guilty of this, is there any way we can get Sepp Blatter to stick his nose where it isn't wanted on our behalf?

Why the hell do you all have red bars? <laugh>

I think if Togo win tonight then he'll have to stay there until the end (or a day before the end) anyway because of the third place playoff match if they lose in the semi finals?

Yes, the wider the better., In fact, he's more suit'ed to be playing outside of the entire stadium.

    That is true.

It's a ridiculous situation - it's sods law that Defoe got injured now.

Wonder how cheap Damiao looks to Levy now.

Holtby will be settled by the summer, and coincidentally Dempsey will be moving on. Just a bold prediction I've made at least three times before...

If you don't have red bars you haven't done enough to piss off Piskie and his goonie mates. Some of the scousers are pretty infantile too. I sort of look on them as battle scars.
