With Mandy and Joelinton our main strikers potentially for next season under Bruce I can see us setting a record for the lowest number of goals scored in the PL.

can anyone remember a worse ‘main 2’ to pull on a shirt for NUFC?

Feels like going into a gun fight with Spud gun.

No he wasn't. You're looking at him from who our main strikers were.

he’ll only play a handful of games. Complete waste of a squad number.

SG and AA never scored together, I don't think JDT and AA did, and Riviere got, what, 1 league goal in his whole time here?

Don't recall the Ameobi ever scoring together either.

Carroll should start ahead of Joelinton. Gayle should start ahead of both for me. As much as he pissed me off last week after he scored with his lazy ways, I think he offers the best goal threat. He can look very decent when it suits him and his PL record is much better than people realise, he has never really had a proper chance. The problem is he is always injured. As is Carroll so I expect to see a lot of Joelinton.

Whatever we think of our current crop of strikers, nothing will ever compare with the total ****ness of that season. Couldn't score a goal to save ourselves and that was in a really **** second division. At least the current crop are failing in the Premier League.

I'd play Carroll and Gayle up top when we play a bottom half side.

    Joelinton replacing whoever is injured.

If both injured play Fernandez and Schar up top to replicate.

    Muto and Gayle....

TBH I'd love Muto to get a bit of a run, hasn't done anything wrong for me and needs a chance. Rather him and Joe up top than any other pairing we have.
